Outstanding Participation
A total of 75 minutes is allotted to answer all the questions in stage 1 and 2.

In preparing students for the examination, WAEC and NECO syllabus are suitable, as the examination questions make use of these syllabus extensively.
- First stage of this competition comprises of 50 Objective questions with 4 theory questions spanning through the organic and inorganic aspects of chemistry.
- Second stage would be CBT of 100 questions.
- Third stage would be quiz competition with FIVE rounds.
A total of 75 minutes is allotted to answer all the questions in stage 1 and 2.
Invigilators and examination personnel would be deployed to cover the 20 centres in the state to write the exams. In some cases, Local Government within the same area could be combined together.
- 1st Stage: The first round will take place on Saturday 8th June, 2019. The venue will be communicated to you 2 weeks before examination is written.
- 2nd Stage: This is slated for 13th July, 2019 at a CBT center; font-weight:bold within Abeokuta.
- 3rd Stage: This is slated for 18th July, 2019 at a venue to be communicated
The award ceremony would be graced by all sponsors. Prizes and awards would be given to students who have distinguished themselves. Venue and date will be communicate in due time. Winners recognised and awarded with prizes.
- The AOJCC State exam will hold on Saturday May 4, 2019 across the different Local Government Areas of Ogun State, please check the list of center; font-weight:bolds on www.paojf.org
- Students must come to their designated examination centres by 9am for accreditation with their Registration slip duly signed and stamped by their school principal.
- Latecomers will not be allowed to write the examination.
- Students are to come along with pen, HB pencil and eraser
- Students must conduct themselves in an orderly manner.
- Any act of misconduct will lead to disqualification of the student.
- All students MUST come to the exam venue in their School Uniform.
- Please refer to examination centre list to check for the centre nearest to you.
- The competition is open to SS2 (year 11) students ONLY.
- Each school is to prepare their representatives for the qualifying exams based on the current WAEC/NECO syllabuses.
- The decision of the organizers is final and we shall not enter into any correspondence with anyone regarding the conduct of this examination.
- Students are advised to check their results via the online platform that will be made available to them from 1st July, 2019 for the first stage result.
- We strongly recommend that students sit for the examination at centres nearest to them·
- Only qualified students will be contacted for the second stage (CBT) of the competition.
- The AOJ Chemistry Competition is to discover Nigeria’s best Chemistry student.
When there is tie, a contingency CBT exam will be taken on the same day. The 20 CBT questions will now be used and position will be based on speed and accuracy.
